Learn about what to expect as a new client, working with our therapists, and options for insurance and fees.
● Our New Client Process
Perspective Counseling is a boutique practice offering relational therapy.
New clients begin their journey with us by completing our Get Started form or by calling our office.
-
Be prepared to briefly explain the reason you are scheduling and provide insurance information. This is a good time to ask questions you may have.
-
You will receive an access link to your email after scheduling your first appointment.
-
We believe our client relationships are essential, and we are personally invested in your professional therapeutic support.
You will be able to discuss your counseling interests and answer questions about your background, current lifestyle, and health.
We are pleased to offer clients a complimentary coffee bar and chilled beverage selection, as well.
● Connecting With Your Therapist
We want you to have a great fit with your therapist.
-
Some people find they need weekly support. Others attend less frequently or only when they feel they need extra support during difficult times.
After your first session, you will have full access to our online client portal, where you can schedule yourself, see your account information, and message your therapist.
Therapy sessions are scheduled for 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the individual situation or need.
-
We understand that we won’t be the right therapists for everyone. If, for some reason, you or your therapist decide it isn’t a good fit, we will be happy to provide names of other therapists you might consider.
